Job Description:
As a Barista at Ape Hospitality, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee beverages and ensuring an outstanding guest experience. You’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and delivering a memorable experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and other specialty beverages.
  • Ensure all drinks are made according to the company’s standards for quality and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee machines and surrounding area.
  • Assist customers in selecting their beverages and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Handle customer orders and payments efficiently, with excellent customer service.
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies are running low.
  • Create a positive, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in food and beverage handling.
  • Assist with the opening and closing procedures of the café or bar area.
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest trends in coffee and beverage offerings.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Passion for coffee and beverage preparation.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Positive, friendly, and professional attitude with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Knowledge of local coffee culture and trends is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
