Waitress

We are looking for a warm, professional Waitress to join the pre‑opening team at Irish Vickers Mövenpick Grand Al Bustan Dubai. This is an exciting chance to be part of a brand‑new venue where your service style, attention to detail, and guest care will help shape the restaurant’s identity from day one. You will work in a lively Irish bar and restaurant environment that blends authentic hospitality with modern dining standards. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, enjoys interacting with diverse guests, and takes pride in delivering consistent, polished service. Preference will be given to locally available candidates who can join immediately.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Welcome and seat guests with a friendly, professional manner and present menus.
• Take orders accurately and communicate special requests to kitchen and bar teams.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring correct presentation and timing.
• Anticipate guest needs by refilling drinks, clearing plates, and checking back to ensure satisfaction.
• Process payments using POS systems and handle billing queries courteously.
• Maintain dining area standards by clearing and resetting tables, polishing cutlery and glassware, and keeping service stations stocked.
• Support team operations during busy periods, including side work, table turns, and event service.
• Adhere to hygiene and safety procedures and assist with opening and closing duties as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in table service, fine dining, casual dining, or pub environments preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a polished, welcoming demeanor.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced setting.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service and menu familiarity.
• Comfortable standing and walking for long shifts and carrying trays when needed.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Locally available candidates who can start immediately will be prioritised.
