Job Summary

Marriott Hotel Al Jaddaf is seeking a confident, well‑presented, and guest‑focused Pool Bar / Sports Bar Hostess to be the welcoming face of our vibrant bar venues. The ideal candidate will greet guests warmly, manage seating flow, support smooth operations, and ensure every guest enjoys a memorable and seamless experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with a warm, professional, and engaging attitude
  • Manage guest seating, waiting lists, and table assignments efficiently
  • Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting entrance and hostess station
  • Coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth table turnover
  • Provide accurate information about menus, promotions, and bar offerings
  • Assist in managing reservations and guest inquiries
  • Support pool bar and sports bar operations during busy periods
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing requests and concerns promptly
  • Uphold Marriott service standards at all times

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Hostess in a hotel, bar, or restaurant environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Friendly, confident, and guest‑oriented personality
  • Professional grooming and presentation
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast‑paced environment
  • Basic English communication; additional languages are an advantage
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
