Pool Bar Mixologist at Marriott Hotel Al Jaddaf, Dubai

Job Summary

Marriott Hotel Al Jaddaf is seeking a talented, creative, and guest‑focused Pool Bar Mixologist to join our Food & Beverage team. The ideal candidate will craft exceptional beverages, deliver warm and attentive service, and elevate the guest experience at our poolside bar. This role requires strong mixology skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to thrive in an outdoor, fast‑paced environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails, mocktails, and beverages with consistency and flair
  • Welcome guests and provide personalized, attentive service at the pool bar
  • Recommend drinks, upsell premium selections, and promote signature creations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, service stations, and poolside areas
  • Ensure bar stock levels are maintained, including ingredients, garnishes, glassware, and equipment
  • Follow all hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards
  • Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Handle guest requests, feedback, and special preferences professionally
  • Process payments and maintain accurate billing when required
  • Support poolside service during busy periods and special events

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Mixologist or Bartender in a hotel or upscale bar
  • Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, modern mixology, and beverage trends
  • Excellent communication and guest‑service skills
  • Ability to work outdoors and handle high‑volume service
  • Professional grooming and a positive, engaging personality
  • Basic English communication; additional languages are an advantage
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
  • Certification in beverage handling or mixology is a plus
