The Tower Plaza Hotel is seeking a skilled and reliable Kitchen Technician to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot all kitchen equipment to ensure smooth culinary operations. Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on kitchen equipment including ovens, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, grills, fryers, and exhaust systems
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure equipment is functioning safely and efficiently
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from the culinary and stewarding teams
• Coordinate with external contractors for major repairs or specialized servicing
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and spare parts inventory
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and electrical standards
• Assist with installation of new kitchen equipment when required
• Support engineering and maintenance teams with general tasks as needed
• Follow hotel policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Technician or Maintenance Technician in a hotel or commercial kitchen
• Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, electrical systems, refrigeration, and mechanical troubleshooting
• Ability to read technical manuals and interpret equipment diagrams
• Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Physically fit and able to handle tools, equipment, and repair tasks
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and respond to urgent issues
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
