Job Summary

Marriott Hotel Al Jaddaf is seeking a polished, attentive, and guest‑focused In‑Room Dining Waitress to join our Food & Beverage team. The role involves delivering timely, discreet, and high‑quality in‑room dining service that enhances the guest experience across breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late‑night orders.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet guests courteously and deliver in‑room orders with professionalism and discretion
• Present menus, explain dishes and daily specials, and take additional requests when required
• Set up and clear in‑room dining trays and tables according to hotel standards
• Ensure food presentation and temperature meet quality standards upon delivery
• Coordinate with kitchen, room service, and housekeeping to ensure timely and accurate orders
• Handle guest requests, dietary requirements, and special instructions with care
• Process payments and ensure accurate billing when required
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service trolleys and storage areas
• Follow hygiene, safety, and responsible food handling procedures at all times
• Report any guest feedback, incidents, or maintenance issues to supervisors promptly

Requirements

• Previous experience in room service, in‑room dining, or restaurant service preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Professional grooming, discretion, and a guest‑first attitude
• Ability to carry trays and stand for extended periods; good physical stamina
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic billing procedures is an advantage
• Basic English communication; additional languages are a plus
• Flexibility to work shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
