Job Description:

Zeus Restaurant and Lounge, a premier dining and nightlife venue in Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR), is looking for a warm, professional, and friendly Hostess to join our team. As the first point of contact for guests, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, managing reservations, and ensuring that guests have a seamless experience from the moment they enter the restaurant. Your excellent communication skills and attention to detail will be key to delivering exceptional service and maintaining the high standards of Zeus Restaurant and Lounge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel welcome and valued.

• Manage the reservation system, ensuring that tables are organized and efficiently allocated.

• Escort guests to their tables and ensure they are seated comfortably.

• Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries regarding reservations, menu items, and special requests.

• Maintain a professional and neat appearance, representing the venue’s high standards of hospitality.

• Monitor the guest waiting list and ensure smooth seating transitions during busy periods.

• Assist in managing the flow of guests to ensure efficient service and a positive dining experience.

• Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure the needs of guests are met promptly.

• Handle guest complaints or concerns politely and promptly, ensuring issues are resolved to the satisfaction of the guest.

• Ensure that all areas of the dining and lounge space are clean, tidy, and welcoming.

• Assist with special events or functions, helping guests feel taken care of at all times.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Hostess, Receptionist, or in a customer service role within the hospitality industry is preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a calm, positive, and professional attitude.

• A passion for providing exceptional customer service.

• Fluent in English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus).

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

• Strong attention to detail and a positive, welcoming attitude.
