The General Technician with an HVAC background supports the engineering operations of VOGO Grand Hotel & KSK Homes Dubai by maintaining, repairing, and optimizing heating, ventilation, and air‑conditioning systems. This role is ideal for a technically skilled professional who can ensure guest comfort, operational efficiency, and safety across the property.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and related equipment
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in air‑conditioning and ventilation units
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
  • Monitor system performance and adjust controls to maintain optimal temperatures
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and departments
  • Assist with general engineering tasks including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and hotel engineering procedures

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or General Technician with HVAC specialization
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, troubleshooting, and repair techniques
  • Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals
  • Good understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Physical ability to lift, climb, and work in confined spaces
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
  • Basic English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage
