Gates Hospitality is expanding our team in Abu Dhabi, and we are looking for skilled, passionate, and guest‑focused Baristas to join our Front of House team. As a Barista, you will play a key role in shaping the guest experience by crafting exceptional beverages, engaging with customers, and maintaining the warm, welcoming atmosphere our venues are known for.

We are seeking individuals who take pride in their craft — from mastering espresso techniques to presenting beautifully balanced beverages. The ideal candidate is energetic, attentive, and able to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining a high standard of quality and consistency. You should be someone who enjoys interacting with guests, understands the importance of presentation, and thrives in a team‑oriented setting.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare high‑quality coffee and specialty beverages with consistency
  • Operate espresso machines and brewing equipment with precision
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and service areas
  • Engage with guests, take orders, and provide product recommendations
  • Ensure proper stock rotation and replenishment of bar items
  • Follow hygiene, safety, and quality standards at all times
  • Support the FOH team during busy service periods

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Barista in a café or restaurant setting
  • Strong knowledge of coffee preparation, brewing methods, and latte art
  • Excellent communication and customer‑service skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • Positive attitude, team spirit, and passion for hospitality
  • Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage
