Job Summary

Marriott Hotel Al Jaddaf is seeking a professional, energetic, and guest‑focused Banquet Waitress to join our Food & Beverage events team. The successful candidate will deliver attentive service during banquets, conferences, and special events, ensuring flawless execution and memorable guest experiences.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests with a warm, professional manner
  • Serve food and beverages during banquets, conferences, and private events
  • Set up and clear banquet tables, buffets, and service stations according to event specifications
  • Follow event timelines and coordinate closely with banquet captains, kitchen, and service teams
  • Ensure correct presentation and portioning of menu items and beverage service standards
  • Replenish buffet items and maintain cleanliness of service areas throughout events
  • Respond promptly to guest requests, dietary needs, and special instructions
  • Assist with table layouts, place settings, and linen changes as required
  • Handle guest billing and payment procedures when assigned
  • Adhere to hygiene, safety, and responsible service of alcohol policies

Requirements

  • Previous experience in banquet service, events, or high‑volume F&B operations preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and during peak event periods
  • Professional grooming, positive attitude, and team‑oriented mindset
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry trays safely
  • Basic English communication; additional languages are an advantage
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Knowledge of banquet service standards and POS systems is a plus
