Job Description:
As the Night Manager, you will be responsible for managing the hotel operations during the night shift, ensuring that all guests receive impeccable service and that the hotel runs smoothly. You will be the key point of contact for guests and staff during the night, overseeing all front desk activities, addressing any issues or concerns, and providing leadership to the team. The Night Manager will also be responsible for managing security, handling guest requests, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for both guests and employees.
Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service Management:

Ensure guests’ needs are met promptly and effectively during the night shift, providing a high level of customer service.

Handle guest complaints, concerns, or special requests, providing solutions in a professional and timely manner.

Oversee check-ins and check-outs during the night, ensuring that all guests have a smooth and efficient experience.

Maintain positive relationships with guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their stay.

Night Operations Management:
-
Supervise and manage all night shift staff, including front desk agents, security, and housekeeping, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Monitor hotel operations to ensure that all tasks, such as room assignments, billing, and guest requests, are handled in accordance with hotel policies.

Conduct end-of-day reports, including financial reconciliations, ensuring all revenue is accurately recorded.

Review occupancy levels and staffing requirements for the following day, making adjustments as needed.

Safety and Security:

Ensure the safety and security of guests and employees by overseeing security procedures and protocols throughout the night.

Respond to any emergencies or security issues that may arise and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve them promptly.

Conduct regular security checks of hotel premises to maintain a safe environment.

Team Leadership & Staff Support:

Provide leadership and support to the night shift team, ensuring they adhere to hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.

Conduct briefings at the start of each shift to ensure the team is informed of any special guest requests, issues, or hotel updates.

Foster a positive and motivated work environment, ensuring that staff members are focused on delivering excellent guest service.

Administrative Duties:

Prepare and review daily financial and operational reports to ensure accuracy and proper documentation.

Maintain effective communication between departments and relay important information to the next shift.

Oversee the daily balancing of hotel accounts and ensure proper handling of cash, credit card transactions, and other payments.

Requirements:
-
Proven experience as a Night Manager, Front Office Manager, or similar role in the hospitality industry.

Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially in high-pressure situations.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with guests and staff at all levels.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various tasks during the night shift.

Knowledge of hotel management systems and basic financial operations.

Ability to work independently and take initiative to resolve issues that may arise during the night.

Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).

A background in hospitality, management, or a related field is preferred.
